It's a reoccuring thing for LBJ23 isn't it?

It's a reoccuring thing for LBJ23 isn't it?

He does not have All-star help. Mo Williams is good, but not a perennial All-star talent for the sole fact that when his O game is off his entire game suffers. The once All-stars on the Cavaliers roster are just that and they are declining fast in Ben Wallace, Wally Szczerbiak, and even Big Z.

It is also to no surprise that LBJ23's foil in the playoffs in the teams that eliminate him all happen to be teams with multiple versatile/all-around All-stars.

Take a look…

05-06 — Lost in 7 to the Detroit Pistons… Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince (always gets snubbed from All-star games), and Rasheed Wallace.

06-07… Swept in the NBA Finals by the San Antonio Spurs… Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Emanuel Ginobili.

07-08… Lost in 7 to the Boston Celtics…Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen.

08-09… Lost in 6 to the Orlando Magic… Hedo Turkoglu, Rashard Lewis, and Dwight Howard.

Yes, Cavaliers have had their way with the Washington Wizards and that is a team normally of 3 All-stars that have been the NBA's highest scoring trio when all healthy for, like 5 years now. However, Caron Butler, Antawn Jamison, and Gilbert Arenas are offensively selfish All-stars and are not good distributors or defenders for that matter, which is why they have been Cavalier fodder for many years now.

Take a look at the Pistons, Spurs, Celtics, and Magic all those teams stars alternate and distribute their talents. Yes, their are faces of the franchise, like Billups, Duncan, Pierce, and Howard. Nonetheless, Hamilton led Detroit offensively and Wallace, Prince, and Billups chipped in and carried the defensive load. SA all of them can be the best player on the court cohesively as well as Boston and Orlando. In recent times the offensive assignment was carried out by Hedo and Shard and DH12's in paint domination chips in offensively, but more importantly sets the bar and standard for Orlando defensively.

2009-2010 NBA BASKETBALL predictions?

2009-2010 NBA BASKETBALL predictions?

I am a DETROIT PISTONS fan. I think the Pistons made a major mistake in trading star player and point guard CHAUNCEY BILLUPS. They need to be smart drafting this year, so they they establish themselves as a contender and not a pretender. In 2003 they drafted Darko Millic who was a bad pick. He was terrible, they could have had Chris Bosh, Carnelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, David West. Ben Wallace should have stayed with the Pistons. He only left for more money, he was at the time one of the NBA's elite players now he is struggling to get back to the top.

Now 2009-2010 NBA predictions:

EAST

1.Orlando Magic
2.Cleveland Cavaliers
3.Boston Celtics
4.Washington Wizards
5.Atlanta Hawks
6.Chicago Bulls
7.Toronto Raptors or Philadelphia 76ers
8.Detroit Pistons or Miami Heat

WEST

1.LA Lakers
2.San Antonio Spurs
3.Denver Nuggets
4.Utah Jazz
5.Houston Rockets
6.Portland Trailblazers
7.New Orleans Hornets
8.Dallas Mavericks

Lakers have the best line-up for next year?

Lakers have the best line-up for next year?

Assuming Lamar Odom comes back to LA- the Lakers have the best line-up for next year:

PG: Derek Fisher- veteran point guard who is a superb clutch player, a great leader and probably has more experience than the majority of the league's Guards.

SG: Kobe Bryant- The second-best player in the league ( will admit Lebron is a tiny-bit better ). He can score seemingly at will. Great defensive player and now that he's starting to trust his teammates more – the Lakers have a BIG advantage to the rest of the teams in the NBA.

SF: Ron Artest: If his temper is under control- He is the best 2-way defender in the league ( look for him matching up with Kobe) A much better short term replacement for Ariza.

PF: Pau Gasol: One of the most skilled PFs in the game- he can do just about everything.

C: Andrew Bynum: Young and still learning, his potential is sky-high. If he is healthy, he is a beast.

6th Man: Lamar Odom- Arguably the most talented PF/SF in the league at the moment. Can bring the ball up like a point guard, post-up a much bigger guy (thanks to his length) and shoot the 3. Look-out for him winning the best sixth-man award next season

7: Jordan Farmar: Would be a starter on any other team. His energy propels the Lakers bench and can slash into a team's defense like no other

8: Luke Walton: An excellent playmaker for the team.

9: Sasha Vujacic: A very hard-worker in the NBA. He is a good 3-point shooter and a great replacement for Kobe (if he gets injured)

10: Josh Powell: Emerging PF in the NBA and a great shot blocker

11: Shannon Brown: Great athleticism and a good back-up PG

12: Mbenga: Good Strength and athleticism

13. Adam Morrison
14: Sun Yue
15: Chinemelu Elonu

Honorable mentions:
- Boston Celtics
- Orlando Magic
- San Antonio Spurs
- Washington Wizards
- Denver Nuggets

The Cleveland Cavaliers are too much of a gamble- Shaq could either destroy everything or help the Cavs win a championship. The Clippers are also a hug gamble considering the past top draft picks in the NBA
