If you could assign a zodiac sign to each NBA team, how would it go?

If you could assign a zodiac sign to each NBA team, how would it go?

Here's what I would do…

Boston Celtics: Taurus (they're green like grass)
New Jersey Nets: Libra (a net looks like scales, if the scales were that of a reptile)
New York Knicks: Capricorn (knick sounds like knee, and capricorn rules joints)
Philadelphia 76ers: Aries (founding fathers were pioneers)
Toronto Raptors: Scorpio (both are vicious)
Chicago Bulls: Taurus (duh)
Cleveland Cavaliers: Sagittarius: (a cavalier is like a knight, which is like a centaur)
Detroit Pistons: Gemini (a piston is a horse, and the Chinese zodiac counterpart to Gemini is the horse)
Indiana Pacers: Virgo (a pacer is like a servant)
Milwaukee Bucks: Aries (they both have funny horns/antlers coming out of their heads)
Atlanta Hawks: Scorpio (one symbol for scorpio is the eagle)
Charlotte Bobcats: Leo (both are cats)
Miami Heat: Aries (Aries places are deserts and hot dry places)
Orlando Magic: Scorpio (Scorpios love magic)
Washington Wizards: Scorpio (see above)
Dallas Mavericks: Gemini (although I would say John McCain for this, see explanation for Pistons)
Houston Rockets: Aquarius (the sign of the inventor)
Memphis Grizzlies: Leo (Lions and Bears oh my!)
New Orleans Hornets: Aries (Aries animals are biting and stinging insects)
San Antonio Spurs: Aquarius (associated with the ankle)
Denver Nuggets: Leo (both associated with gold)
Minnesota Timberwolves: Gemini (a wolf (swift messanger) is the animal for Gemini)
Portland Trail Blazers: Aries (pioneers)
Oklahoma City Thunder: Aquarius (aquarians are like a wild storm)
Utah Jazz: Aquarius (the improv factor)
Golden state Warriors: Aries (Mars, the god of war)
Los Angeles Clippers: Cancer (apparently a Clipper is a ship, and Cancer is associated with the ocean)
Los Angeles Lakers: Pisces (fish)
Phoenix Suns: Leo (easy, the ruler of Leo is the sun)
Sacramento Kings: Leo (another easy one, the king Lion)

whaddaya think?

Is this a hilarious Celtic news or not?

Is this a hilarious Celtic news or not?

Source: Boston Globe

"The day after losing to the Cavaliers by 20 points, Doc Rivers didn't have the Celtics practice. The players went to the team's practice facility in Waltham Friday, put up a few shots and lifted some weights, but it wasn't a workday.

Instead, Rivers sat them down to watch the HBO documentary "Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals,'' a movie Rivers saw when the team was in Los Angeles to play the Lakers.

"I didn't think we needed work,'' Rivers said. "I thought we needed to be together. So instead of watching us play – I don't think anybody wanted to watch that – instead of watching a horror film, I decided to watch a good film.''"

Then they lost to the pathetic team NEW JERSEY NETS…

Do you believe that a franchise going to the NBA finals………?

Do you believe that a franchise going to the NBA finals………?

With only one finals appearance in its history since 1970, in which the team was swept, would even stand a chance against experienced playoff/ championship veterans?

History has shown that the more experienced team almost always wins the finals.

BQ: How did Phil Jackson manage to get a record of 44-0 when his team wins the first game of ANY series?
