according to the NBA a flagrant foul is

If contact committed against a player, with or without the ball, is interpreted to be unnecessary, a flagrant foul–penalty (1) will be assessed. A personal foul is charged to the offender and a team foul is charged to the team.

or

NEW YORK (AP) — The NBA has decided not to take any additional action against Rajon Rondo for his skirmish with Kirk Hinrich in Game 6.

The league said Friday the first-quarter play would stand as a flagrant foul against Rondo. It could have upgraded the foul or even suspended the Celtics' point guard for Game 7 of the series Saturday.

Chicago was leading 34-25 Thursday when Derrick Rose rebounded a missed 3-pointer by Boston's Stephon Marbury with 30 seconds left. That's when Rondo shoved Hinrich into the scorer's table. Hinrich pushed him back and Rondo then threw an elbow that missed.

The league previously declined to further penalize Rondo for his foul on Brad Miller in the closing seconds of Game 5.

The Bulls cheated to win 3 games and the Magic have no chance.

Why do you watch the NBA if it is fixed?

Barring a injury to the princes (kobe and lebron) It will be a Cavs Lakers final b/c that will be the best for ratings and that's all Stern cares about.

Last year, Boston had an easy road to the finals(minus the hawks), and the Lakers seemed to be helped by the officials to get to the finals(i.e. Fishers no call foul on brent barry) for the "classic Celtic laker final"
I honestly believe the playoffs are fixed in the NBA, reading through these questions it seems like a lot of people think the same way. So why do you watch?

Do people relise that the regular season?

doesnt count in the playoffs, it's stupid when people say LAs gonna beat cleveland because they swept the season series or that cleveland has the best record in the nba, well tell me this, the magic swept the lakers the spurs won the season series against cleveland and boston yet it looks like were going fishing and also apart from last year from 2002 the team with the best record never won the finals until the celtics last year, you better all stop making these garuntees that the cavs and the lakers will win with using just regular season stats, why do you think we have playoffs for, just watch the damn games enjoy them root for your team but dont be surprise if they dont win a championship, peace.

Celtics Fans: Should we be worried we might end up like the pathetic Lakers?

Couldnt fit in question. Anyway, boston fans, should we be worried we might end up like the pathetic lakers stadiums and fans. I think even die hard lakers fans can agree with me, but their stadium is BOOORING compared to what it used to be during their dynasty years. It's full of celebrities that clap instead of cheer and no rowdy chants or boos.

Our stadiums been a bit quiet lately and the tickets are getting a bit expensive. Outta nowhere we're starting to get new fans and I'm kinda worried that we might not have the NBA's most fierce arena(With a solid winning record) and chant crap like "bullsh!t" and "a$$hole" anymore. Has any other celtics fans notice this and should we be worried?
