Khloe & Lamar ‘Make It Work’ – Despite Busy Schedules

Khloe & Lamar 'Make It Work' – Despite Busy Schedules

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom

Having survived their first NBA season as a married couple, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have found a nice balance between career and family. The secret to a happy home, despite the time apart, she says, is simply “caring enough to make it work.”

“It’s easy to not make it work, but I am so blessed to have someone who loves me and wants to make it work,” the reality star, 25, told PEOPLE Saturday at sister Kourtney’s birthday pool party at Wet Republic in Las Vegas.

Kardashian was just in Oklahoma City to see her husband and his Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA playoffs against the Oklahoma City Thunder. She left Oklahoma to celebrate with her sisters in Vegas, sipping Bombay Sapphire cocktails in the sun.

Kardashian was sporting a large sparkling necklace bearing Odom’s initials, and her mind wasn’t far from her husband. “We definitely see each other a lot,” she says. “I love our situation.”

The other thing that comes in handy in her marriage: a newfound love of basketball. “I’ve never been into basketball until now,” she says. “So, for me to be as into it as I am is cool. Weird, but cool.”

How do the seed teams in NBA Playoffs?

How do the seed teams in NBA Playoffs?

I am confused about the seeding in NBA Playoffs? It seems as though it should work like most non bracket playoff systems, highest seed plays lowest seed. But that is not the case in the Conference semifinals this year with the:
#1 L.A. Lakers vs. #5 Houston Rockets, and the
#2 Denver Nuggets vs. #6 Dallas Mavericks.
But in the East They are seeded with highest playing lowest.
#1 Cleveland Cavs vs. #4 Atlanta Hawks
#2 Boston Celtics vs. #3 Orlando Magic.
Please someone clear up the confusion!!!

Would you say Magic Johnson was better than Michael Jordan?

Would you say Magic Johnson was better than Michael Jordan?

While I do think Michael Jordan was a better scorer and better defender I think Magic Johnson was slightly better.

He was the best passer to play the game not even good passing point guards such as steve nash, john stockton, jason kidd came close.

In comparison to Jordan he was a better rebounder.

He was more versatile than Michael Jordan being able to play all 5 positions whereas at most Jordan could only play 2 positions.

Also the teams Magic Johnson had to play to win in the NBA finals were tougher than Jordan such as 76ers, Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons. When Jordan played these teams many times in NBA playoffs in his first 5-6 years he lost many times and it did not come close. If Magic Johnson had played 4-5 more years he would have had one or two more rings and Jordan would have had 4 or 5 with no 3-peat.

Do you think the Knicks could pull off another upset over Boston this year?

Do you think the Knicks could pull off another upset over Boston this year?

Wilson Chandler would have to have another 30 point game or an even bigger outburst to solidify himself as a player who is on the right track of things. Double D Lee, Harrington, and Duhon would all have to play great too because for a young team like ours to beat a team like that again it has to be a team effort.

Having Gallinari healthy this year and adding Hill and Douglas might be a great bonus in the long run also Milicic on the boards could be quite productive.

If the Knicks find a way into the NBA Playoffs if we do not get the Hawks a team we have proved we can beat (3-1) last season. I would prefer Boston over the Cavs or Magic because although the Celtics are the only ones of the 3 to win a championship and are a great team. They have shown their weakness to teams like ours, fast break run n gun offenses.

I mean the Hawks took them to the 7 game distance and they rely on athleticism more than any other team probably and the Bulls also took them to the 7 game distance and they are a good uptempo team in their own right. Seems Boston gets a little rattled by the run n gun game.

Last year was the Knicks 1st year under Mike D's system and it was the 1st time we beat the Celtics in a long time. Under Isiah Thomas I remember when we were blown out by nearly 50 and we were dogged on by KG and even Craig loven Sager after the game. Showing, that the changing of a system does go a long way.

What can I do to beat the Celtics in my NBA 2k9 playoffs?

Undecided Question

What can I do to beat the Celtics in my NBA 2k9 playoffs?

I decided to take this seriously and kind of know what being in the NBA feels like. I created a player and I have my association with the Bobcats, I played all 82 games in superstar difficulty.

ok. My record is 65-17, best in the East. But the problem is Boston, they are #2 and although we are already in the second round and they are against #3 Miami and I am against #5 Atlanta, I am very concerned because I lost both of my meetings with Boston. How can I win the series?

My starting line-ups. (* asterisk shows players that have been created, I will give you some info about them so you know how they play)

C- *Taribo Yang- 7'2" – defensive player, but not really an offensive weapon, averaging 6 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks per game.
PF- Amare Stoudemire
SF- Gerald Wallace
SG- *Erik Smith- 6'4"- the NBA Rookie of the year, a deadly shooter from 3 land, and a highflyer, really an offensive weapon. Average of 19 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assist, 1.6 steals, 0.9 blocks.
PG- Kenyon Dooling

(I chose a normal team, I don't like All-Star teams I like to work for what I have)

Alright, How can I beat the Celtics, or at least what can I do to have a better chance at doing it?

NBA playoffs…???????????

NBA playoffs…???????????

which teams do you think will be in the playoffs, final four and who will win the trophy and the rings?
east
1.cleveland
2.boston
3.orlando
4.atlanta
5.Toronto
6.milwaukee
7.chicago
8.charlotte..maybe miami

west
1. la lakers
2. dallas
3. denver
4. phoenix
5. utah
6. san antonio
7. oklahoma city
8. portland

final 4:
east
cleveland vs boston

west
la lakers vs dallas and dallas will win the championship.

toronto will be fighting hard but they don't have enough experience and they will lose to orlando, boston or cleveland.
phoenix is good but their bench is not good enough to help them to make the final four. denver is very good but dallas and la lakers are just better this year. i think denver has a chance for the title nxt year. boston, orlando and cleveland..it's going to be cavs vs celtics…well cavs are the best on the east and if boston stays healthy then they will make it to the final four. its gonna be a hard battle between them its probably going to be 4-3 for boston or cavs.

what do you think?
