2009-2010 NBA BASKETBALL predictions?

2009-2010 NBA BASKETBALL predictions?

I am a DETROIT PISTONS fan. I think the Pistons made a major mistake in trading star player and point guard CHAUNCEY BILLUPS. They need to be smart drafting this year, so they they establish themselves as a contender and not a pretender. In 2003 they drafted Darko Millic who was a bad pick. He was terrible, they could have had Chris Bosh, Carnelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, David West. Ben Wallace should have stayed with the Pistons. He only left for more money, he was at the time one of the NBA's elite players now he is struggling to get back to the top.

Now 2009-2010 NBA predictions:

EAST

1.Orlando Magic
2.Cleveland Cavaliers
3.Boston Celtics
4.Washington Wizards
5.Atlanta Hawks
6.Chicago Bulls
7.Toronto Raptors or Philadelphia 76ers
8.Detroit Pistons or Miami Heat

WEST

1.LA Lakers
2.San Antonio Spurs
3.Denver Nuggets
4.Utah Jazz
5.Houston Rockets
6.Portland Trailblazers
7.New Orleans Hornets
8.Dallas Mavericks

NBA FINALS:

these are good picks, but i wanna focus on your bottom half of the east bracket.1. Miami won't go all the way down to #82. Chicago isn't good enough to be a #6. May I remind you that after the bulls were the 5 seed in the 07 playoffs, they killed Miami then lost to Detroit, and in the offseason, everybody was praising them like they won the 08' championship before the celtics were "reborn" ….and they sucked the following year.3.the hawks are mediocre. i really don't need to say anything after they got crushed by Cleveland last year. they won't be around the playoffs for long. they might fall to 7 or 8 this year….4. Three of these four teams could very well miss the playoffsRaptors- Bosh needs to step his game up, and they need a stronger presence on that team76ers- They need Brand to become better than he was with the ClippersPISTONS- Your Team. They're in a freefall, and they need to move AI off that team before it implodes hawks- I already pointed out what's wrong with this team….. Hoping that the wizards and pistons can make some good comebacks this year…..(WIZARDS FAN)

Dont get confused, its not like the Pistons let go of Billups cause they thought Iverson would be better, they just decided that after so many trips to the East Finals, it was time to either rebuild or at least make some major changes, Iverson was just brought in because of his contract cause it expires this year and is worth about 20 million, that clears up cap space so they will no be able to sign new fresh players that can be great to the franchises future.

Wow ur not a true Pistons fan if you think Pistons will be 8th seed u no how much cash they have and trading options and draft picks they have and the Wizards that High Pistons will get that 4th or 5th seed

  5. taylor swift Says:

The trade is NOT a BIG mistake. It's because they wanted somebody with an ending contract.__Skyfade nailed it.

I like your Eastern 1-4 picks, especially if Gilbert Arenas plays like the pre-injury-riddled Arenas we all know and love. However, I don't see the Heat falling all the way to 8. They were 15-67 in 2007-2008, and came back to win 43 games on their way to becoming the 5th seed in the East in 2008-2009. They took the Hawks to 7 games, and if their team had a little more experience, they probably would have won (we saw what the Hawks did against the Cavs–Nothing at all).Plus they'll still have Wade, who in my opinion might be as good as Kobe Bean Bryant when it's all said and done. And that brings me to the West…Unless the Spurs will be drinking 8 glasses of water a day from the fountain of youth, I don't see how they will be 2nd next year. They've got experience, but they're injury-prone and way too old at this point. The Nuggets should be in the 2 spot, with the Rockets OR Jazz OR Hornets at 3.The West is a toss up because every team is loaded with talent and depth. The one thing that isn't a toss up is that the Lakers, barring a season-ending injury to Kobe or Gasol, will likely be on top again.I pick the Lakers to win the finals again in 2010.
